shortbed driveshaft question...

My 84 started out as a longbed with a metric trans & now is a shortbed with a long tail TH350. Did the TH trucks come with long or short tailshaft transmissions from the factory? Anybody know the length of them?

Have one for sale? Thanks...corn

Don't know the length of the driveshaft, but my truck has the long tail version.

just out of curiousity, what "metric" trans do you have? if its a 700R4, the driveshaft should work no problem.

It was a 3 speed metric, (200? I think). Also it was a long bed truck before so its too long & I dont have it any more...

if it was a TH250, they're identical dimensionally. if its a 700R4, its close enough to work.
