Question for you guys running TPI's about the fuel pump.
Are any of you running a inline eletric pump with a 350 tpi?
If so what kind and where did you get it. Also how did you run the return line?

I have a burb so I'm going to run a late model 73-91 burb 32 gallon tank and they have a drop in pump and sending unit for the factory FI trucks.(need to reverse the fill tube direction, weld before you put any gas at all in it or BOOM!!)
return line: Just order another fuel line from classic line or inline tube adn run it just below the factory line route it into a vent hose or run it up the filler and route it into the upper neck of the gas filler. sdsefi.com has a schematic for running a low pressure to fill a holding and a high pressure pump from the holding tank in the engine compartment to fuel rail.. might help

Be sure pump is the lowest part of the fuel delivery system. The pump pushes the fuel and has a hard time sucking. If pump has no fuel for any amount of time it will shorten it's life. The fuel actually cools the pump.

Fuel pump(GM short #EP286)+filter(Fram part#G7333)mounted inline on the Passenger side frame rail.
![]() 5/16ths steel brake line used for the return line.Mounted to the drivers frame rail. ![]() I have the return connected to one of the vent tubes but this is giving me trouble when filling the tank.I'll be moving the return line to the filler tube or be soldering a return port into the fuel gauge float assembly. ![]() Hope this helps

I have the same one Bobby does except my filter is on the inlet side. Don't have any problem drawing suction. Did at first, but a hand vacuum pump conquered that. Just hook it up to the fuel rail test fitting(with valve stem out) and pump til you get fuel. Reinstall valve stem and off you go. Jeff.

I bought a Rock Valley stainless tank for the rear. They put the high pressure pump in for the LT1 I'm doing. Yes, it was expensive, but what's another year?
Where is Wingate NC, from the Triad? Stepside
