I just put her in the yard today, I will be getting a list of parts that I may need seems to be mostly small stuff, headlight hold downs heater controls(mine works) etc soa s far as the parts 65 Stepside I will let you know.

Ozzy I will be looking for a message about that shop manual that would be awesome if its the right one.

The vin is H3C519B103587 I am trying to determine the year of the truck but have been unable to successfully decode the vin any ideas?

Magilla, the best I can make of your Vin# goes like this:

H3C519B103587

H - Optional 24,000# GVW

3 - 1963

C - Conventional Cab

51 - 1 1/2 ton

9 - Stake Body(?)

B - Baltimore Plant

103587 - Series Unit#

I'm not 100% positive on all this, but I think it's pretty close. 60-63 has the wrap around windshield with the vent windows being wider at the top. 64-66 has the flatter windshield with the vent windows being wider at the bottom. Do you have any pictures? I'd like to see the truck.
