Thread Missing?!?!?!?
I will attempt to re-list my search here today and ask that any Member, Administrator or other knowledgable person express their opinion on whether my requests are unusual, illegal or otherwise different from what other members have been requesting for as long as this WebSite has been in existance. Here goes:
WTB: (wanted to buy) a 71/72 CAB from a 4x4, 3/4 ton pickup, Longbed. Must have a Title and valid VIN plate with it. Will consider a Frame from same type truck, but it must have a valid Title and VIN plate with it. Either one or both of these parts can be in totally rusted out junk, scrap, crap condition, doesn't matter. There...., thats it. Thank you all for letting me vent my frustration. Sincerely, 72longbed Last edited by 72longbed; 07-25-2005 at 06:08 PM. |

Willing to travel to VT?
Have a 3/4 ton 4x4 chassis, let me make sure about the title first though... Don't need titles in VT for these old trucks so I gotta check. |

Yes VT,
please check to see if you have the VIN plate that would be in the drivers side door pillar, AND the TITLE. I need both to be legal in PA. Thank you for looking into it, and I look forward to hearing back from you. 72longbed |

If it's 3/4 ton 4wd then it can only be 127". no shortbeds, no longhorns

What would the gears in the axels most likely be? Any idea? 4:11's or 4:56's? Those 3/4 ton axels are heading for my blazer soon. |

i guess i should have mentioned that my comment was to say that may be why the 4x4 has a lower GVWR, LOL. im not really sure what gears it should have, but my guess would be 4.11... i have a book for 71 that tells, but dunno if it would be same for 72

Transfer Info?
vtblazer,
I'd be very interesred in knowing what the process is in VT. to transfer ownership to me here in PA. Also if there is a document, (Title or Ownership Affidavid) that you can get from the State of VT. that would make the transfer more easy here in PA? Thanks for looking into this, I am very interested in doing this with you. 72longbed |
