The HD line of trucks had them, you know, dump trucks and such.

I would guess 81-87

That one you have is probably a 1983 one.

You might want to PM 84pumpkin. That looks like the pic DBLSPRT68 posted on his update here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=165070 84pumpkin sold that cluster to him

GMCLS1, yes that is correct. I bought that cluster from 84pumpkin, and he usually has a few. They came in the C-40, C-70 line of trucks. That pick is my truck and it's installed and running . I was worried the gas guage would'nt work right, but it does perfectly. I took out the air guage that was in mine, did a little triming/working, and put my clock in. Looks good huh? Me likey a lot! Someone had mentioned that they heard the circuit board burns up on these , so make sure you look at it good, or have it checked. I'll just run mine till/if it does, and deal with it then. Later, David

That's the same as in my 81 Custom Deluxe C10, but I don't have the one in the lower lefthand corner with the little button.

I really like the gas gauge combined with the tach.

I was going to go with all autometer gauges but this looks much cleaner.

I agree 100 percent. Of course that depends on what style the rest of the truck is done in. If it's a mostly restored truck this is the only way to go in my opinion...

Since there’s some of you who had experience with this type of cluster setup. Can you tell me what is required to transplant this type of cluster into 87 GMC that came standard with the dummy light cluster for the temp, brakes, oil, and batt without a Tac?

Anyone!!!!? Somebody surely has done a similar trade out. Let me try again, Dummy light cluster, replaced with a mechanical cluster. If the circuit board and housing is all there, what else needs to be in place, besides the speedo connection? Will the harness connection for the mechanical cluster plug and play or is there a Wire harness change in order? Hope this makes sense?
