back glass question

will a back glass out of a 77 fit into a 87? if anyone knows please let me know thanks Doc

It should. I heard all of them from 73-87 can be replaced.

73-80 uses thicker glass from the factory than 81-87. It will swap though. You most likely will want to use the rubber seal that came with whichever window you get.

I don't get it. I got one out of a 1977 Silverado that wont fit in a 1981 Custom Deluxe?

hmm...... I just put my 75 rear glass up to the back of an 87 cab they are diffrent ?? crazy. I sware I have swapped these before without issue myself Oh well good luck.

How is it not fitting? The cabs never changed dimensions from '73-87.

dont some have special shorter windows? i know my 82 has a tall one and my dads 86 scatsdale has a very short one?!?!?!?!

You got it !! I just talked with my pops he said the slider was out of a camper pack truck thats why it is diffrent.
