Great stores???
 I'm restoring 67 c10 fleetside and still need some parts. I ordered the parts i need all while ago at chevyduty, but i never heard from them till now.  I live in the Netherlands (europe) so shipping is really expensieve i'd like to order everithing i need in one time. Where do you get your stuff from? What are good companies and will they ship outside the us?

i've ordered from chevy duty, gmc pauls, and one thing from lmc truck, so far only one backordered item, (kickpanel from chevy duty) but i don't even need that yet so it's ok. board members will get you a good deal so the shipping and price should be lower.

I haven´t order anything myself direct from a US company yet, only through some Swedish importers.
I do believe another board member from The Netherlands, Edmond have order some stuff over the years from US companies. Let's see if he chimes in here and let you know of his experiences.

All the board vendors are good and priced reasonably close to each other. Take the time to email or call them and tell them what you want to do and where you are. Ask if they can provide reasonably priced shipping with a tracking number that you could check on the internet. Also ask if some of the shipping cost can be absorbed in the purchase price of the parts. If you don't ask you don't get.

I agree but there are not too many Next Day deliveies from the USA to the Netherlands and Sweden
 I think his concern is with knowing how long it will take when he places the order.

He also needs to be sure they don't try to drop-ship stuff. Best thing to do is put together your list and tell the vendor that you want done. Find someone who will work with you. ChevyDuty is good, but will not work with you as well as GMC Paul www.gmcpauls.com or Wes www.classicheartbeat.com . I know they will both work with you via e-mail and keep in contact.

I have bought from Wes and Tim. Had a GREAT experiance with Tim at christiansclassics. He felt so bad about my shipping charges he refunded some of it back to me!
Can't speak for them as to what they offer for out of country freight. Customs? Write them an e-mail and ask. |

I have ordered from a few companies over the last few years,
and some of them are board vendors. The last I know of GMC Pauls is that he doesn't ship to Europe anymore because of creditcard problems in the past. The last two years I ordered parts thanks to a board member who offered me to help and that was perfect. And cheaper. Most parts came from Tim Christian,and the board member shipped the parts to me. Try to get your parts shipped with US Postal Service. So far it has been the cheapest way for me. Expect 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Also you can try Speedshop in Stekene, Belgium. I have ordered parts from them too at reasonable prices. Check them out at SPEEDSHOP Goodluck. Cya, Edmond
