Just dont think I could bid on a radio like that unless I knew for sure it worked. I sold a fm transciever on Ebay a couple of years ago. The guy I got it from said it worked(and I stated that in the auction), turns out it was fried.

Not knowing if the radio even worked, I would pass unless it was cheap and does not look that is the case here. If you got the radio and it too was fried, the seller is really covered. You are stuck.

I swear, if I were selling that and was aiming for the $200 mark that he is most likely wanting, I would at least have a local shop test it for $20 and give me a status on paper for everybody's piece of mind before & after the sale!!!

They say: "I have no way of testing it" in this case-no antenna.

I sold one on ebay a year or so ago. It worked, but the sound was muffled, and I advertised it as such. I was surprised to sell it for $250. I've seen "unknown condition" ones bring 200 or more on ebay, but prices have fallen alot since then. I'm curious to see what this one brings.

I did not think the cb's were that popular in the 80's. I know they were in the 70's. But for GM to put these as an option during this time would not think too many were sold. Should be very rare I would think.
