Ok, Ive got a stupid question... I went and got a set of tow hooks
(aftermarket). Got them in and rolled under the truck to see what size
bolts I will need, but then I noticed I did not have bolt holes for them. So
now Im second guessing myself. Where do these things mount? Front of
the truck, bolted to the frame right near the bumper right? Or am I crazy?

Not aftermarket but original mounted on frame

Solver - What year is that? 67/68 or 69/71?

Those are the 69/71(some 72) style.

I have my aftermarket hooks bolted to the bottom of the frame, just in front of the spring hangers (and just behind the front bumper). Now if I could figure out how to post a pic or two....
