Tilt steering column

Can anyone tell me how to identify a truck tilt steering column from a van tilt column?

Also the bottom splined shaft sticks out further on a van tilt vs. a truck tilt. The truck looks "stubby" while the van sticks out quite a bit. Van tilt might also have a rectangular wiring connector instead of the semi round horsehsoe style connector used by trucks.

The tilt column I have has the longer splined shaft & rectangular wire connector.
There is no neutral safety switch or a hole for it on the column.
Any ideas what this column is out of?
