What kind of paint will stick - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

To a powering stering pump. I wanted to paint my pump a cast alumn. color. I see Eastwood sells a cast alumn. paint good for 250 Deg. Does anyone know if that might stick to the pump or will it come of after awhile?

Clean it real good. Degrease it properly and it will stick just fine.
