Replacing Springs

I'm going to be replacing my rear springs this weekend and I would like to know if I should get a spring compressor. I used one when I replaced the front and it went real smooth. Is there any thing else I can expect?

nope, just undo shocks, lift the frame and let rearend fall, and wrestle that damn bolt out that holds the spring on the seat of trailing arm and they will fall out.

Their not real fun to change. Getting the upper spring retainer out is always a challenge. You might should leave the shocks hooked up so your rear end doesn't go flying when you unbolt the springs. bottom spring retainer is a piece of cake. Its easier if you have the bed off, but its not nessacary.

Those overloads will probbly be in your way all the time, but other than that, no difference.
