Can sumone suggest a 2" - 2.5" lift kit "package" that includes front and rear springs that would fit my '69 K10. I've been looking at a few websites but most are hard to understand what you are gettin if you aren't going for the 4" or larger lift kits they offer. Plus will I need the 52" or 56" rear spring that they offer??

I've viewed a few lift kit threads and think I would like to go with a skjacker softride 2.5" kit can anyone give me a link to that? or at least tell me what I should be ordering to get this done?

Brian, you should have 52" rear springs.

I've always gotten the "hydro" vice the gas charged.

Just wanted to thank you again Jim got my Springs Friday looks like everything is there but they must have forgot the lube pack for the bushings.

Would ya be able to give me an idea what kind of lube I should try and get sence I didn't get any? I can't wait to get these installed!

I use waterproof bearing grease. Are the bushings black? if so they could be impregnated with graphite, then the grease would only help you slip them in. Are you replacing the front frame bushing and and the bushing in the rear shackle? I'd recommended it and it's not too hard to do. Also suggest all new grade 8 bolts, should be all 9/16" for the rear and 9/16" for the very front and 7/16" for the front shackle end. Your welcome.

Jim, the bushings are black. The Kit came with hardware...what grade of bolt would they have sent? The new springs have the new bushings in them, yes? So are talking about the frame mount Bushing for the rear shackle of the front springs or rear springs (or both)? Cause I guess I hadn't thought of that.

I just looked at the tuff country site and the shackle bushings are listed for '71-'87 trucks. Is there a difference in the shackle from '69-'71? Which ones do you speak of or which kit will get me what I need? Sorry for my stupidity

I am a novice...still learning.
