Lowered 2 wheel drive Blazer for reference
Here are some photos of my 72 2 wheel drive Blazer drop for reference. 3 1/2"-5", I used the Early Classic Kit containing 2.5" drop spindles with 1" drop springs in the front for the rear I used 5" drop springs. I also installed shock relocater kit w/KYB Shocks, adjustable panhard bar and new trailing arm bushings. The rims are 16" American Racing. It took me 1 weekend to complete(i'm slow). What a difference! I thought someone might like to see some pictures of the drop to get an idea of the look. It's alot of money to spend to find out it is not low enough or to low. The ride is great, Just need to get the front end aligned.

I started with the same drop before tearing mine apart for restoration. One thing you will notice, because the top weighs over 300 lbs, the ride height in the back will vary significantly between top-on and top-off. I ended up using Early Classics air bag suspension on the rear, because the adjustability overcomes this. I like it so much, Im toying with the idea of changing to air ride technologies bags on the front.

Drop
I think it looks great!!! I was wondering what a 3/5 drop would look like. Thanks for sharing your pictures. I have a 72 I would like to drop. How much spring travel is in the rear? Is it close to the frame? Does it bottom out on big bumps? Thanks B.B.

There is plenty of travel left. not even close to bump stops. I have not come close to bottoming out yet and I have been getting my driving time in (Ohio weather I need to enjoy it as much as I can) I have not had my hard top ($25.00) on yet though as earlier posted could affect ride? Here are a few interior and engine (orig 350,350 trans) pictures. I purchased the Blazer from gentleman about a month ago who was closing out an estate from a relative that had recently passed away (It has been sitting for a about 4-5 years). He did a frame off restoration? repalced with an Arizona tub, new body mounts, brake lines, etc,etc,etc. not quite finished, mainly cleaning and detailing,he didn't do as good a job on the frame as I would have liked so after I have a little bit of fun with it I think I will pull body off and detail a little better. But hey most of the hard work has been done right! I have had more than my share of old chevys but I am really enjoying this Blazer
