Should i buy a 99 chevy shortbed v-6 auto 20's lowered 2/4, 125,000 miles on the body, and about 9,200 on a new gm crate longblock, the wheels are a few months old, and the brakes were just done, is EDIT($6000) a good deal

5 500 is an excellent deal for one of those trucks!

Heck, we just sold a 92 ext cab shortbox for that much up here.

Make sure that you check it over real good though, a new engine in there makes a guy wonder how hard that guy drove that thing to blow it up in the first place.

would it hurt it somehow if it had a breathalizer, which wires or what would they do when they put it in

you should look into the laws for removing the breathalizer. It may be illegal for you to remove it. I would call the police and ask them what you can do to have it removed. THey may be trying to sell it because they can drive it when they are drunk. I would watch out.

i wasn't gonna remove it , the city will do that for him when he sells it, his liscence is suspended, but he can drive to work, school, church, etc. he used to be my pretty good friend, he got it for having to many dui's, i was just wondering if they would hack up the wiring taking it out, or if it was like a plug and play deal

It should be ok. If they put it in, they should be able to take it out. it sounds like a good deal if the inside and the body are in good shape.

I really love football and my truck but if I had to give up one it would have to be football.

Ouch! Hope it will never come to that.

i haven't bought it, i don't know if i will, it just didn't have as much power as i thought it would, i edited the first post, he wants $6,000, he owes $6,300 on it, if anyone else around here wants to buy it i will pm you the phone number
