COnfused: BBC stock on a 4x4?
Thought it didn't happen?
I've seen several trucks with owners claiming to have a stock BBC in a 4x4? For instance: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-...QQcmdZViewItem Yah, it's ebay. also, if someone wants a 402 block, there ya go! |

THE GENERAL NEVER PUT A BIG BLOCK IN 67-72 4WD TRUCKS. HOWEVER LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE TRANSPLANTED STOCK (NOT HIGH PERFORMANCE & JUST THE WAY THEY CAME FROM G.M.) BBC INTO FWDs OF ALL TYPES (PICKUPS, SUBURBANS & BLAZERS) JOHN

A little hard to tell, but it looks like a long water pump on that "original 4X4 BBC".
