Got a new truck

My grandpa told me today that he is going to give me his 88 Chevy truck in the next week or two. He said its just sitting and he doesnt drive it so I could have it. Its just an old work truck but it runs good. Ill get some pictures as soon as I get it home. Hes got to clean it out and get his toolbox of the back.

I have an 89 too. Its cursed, and I hate it! More time off the road than on, lol

Then again, that truck has over 340 000 miles on it, so its served pretty well considering :P

The dirt probably created a protective coating. Underneath it all the paint might still be nice. I put 388k on an 88 and it's still on the road. They are good trucks if they are cared for....

Oh ya, the paint is still pretty good, Im gonna have my uncle wet sand it and buff it out to make it look better though. Its got a dent all the way down the passenger side where he hit a hand rail at a school one day too.
