The military used to have some running around. That is the only place I ever saw any. I think it was out at NTC in Ft. Irwin, CA that I saw them last.
Mike PS...NTC is the National Training Center for you non-military. Mike

Use a narrow type DRW rear like on the cab & chassis trucks. I seen one a couple years ago at Carlisle truck show. It fit under it completely, like Chevy would have done them.

I have seen a couple of '73+ burbs done but never one in real life of this generation of truck. The narrow rear end will work but doesn't look quite right IMHO. Someday I am going to do up a panel or a burb in the same fashion as my '68 dually. As stated before just scribe and graft on stepside fenders.

Re: dually
Long Roof,
I have the same setup as yours. The PO installed the same middle seat. Does yours lock on the bottom?? It looks like yours lock on the sides. Mine doesn't. It has the same stops as yours, but not the bar on the seats for hook to latch onto. I need to get this fixed. My kids ride back there. |

Re: dually
It does lock on the sides but the PO installed these as well and they need some adjustments.
I don't actually use this as a truck so I am considering removing the folding bench in favor of four buckets. Aaron

Re: dually
I would be interested in the seat backs only, or trade mine plus cash for yours. Like I said, I only need those so mine will lock. I do have the stops like yours, but my backs are without the bars to latch onto...
