Video from yesterday on the way to work
Was on the way to work yesterday morning and couldn't resist getting some video of the truck accelerating. I used the camera strap to hold the camera, so don't worry, was being safe.
Now don't go laughing at the crappy steering wheel - I've got different one that will be installed at some point. And as for having both the 4 on the floor and the 3 on the tree shifter, well, haven't gotten around to yanking the old column in favor of the tilt that I have ready. The first clip is larger but ya get to watch the tach. Gets a bit bouncy once I get into 4th gear. Video file about 6 megs Audio only MP3 file, much smaller I now know I have a problem - I have found my self control is a bit lacking as I just can't keep my right foot off the go pedal

I love that sound!
And looking at those new pics, I like your door panels. Did you do those yourself? |

Yep, I used the old panels as templates and made the new panels from bathroom grade backing board. I then glued foam to the panels followed by the fabric that matches the seats.

The column shifter is to confuse the competition lol. As for the speedo, I keep thinking about whether to try to sell the mechanical and go with an electric - sure would make calibrating it easy if I go electric.
