Fender Flares
I am considering putting some fender flares put on my '85 C10 Cilverado. I really like the look on other vehicles but have never seen any on an '81-'87. Does anyone have any pictures? I'm talking about fairly wide, maybe 3", flares, painted or not. I prefer just to leave them black. Thanks for the help.

Re: Fender Flares
I think LMC or Chevy Duty had a picture of sport flares on a c10 in their catalog, if you have one.

Re: Fender Flares
That's great. Are those flares by Bushwacker? I believe so, as they are the only ones with the screws on the top. How do those attach to the vehicle? Thanks for the pic!

Re: Fender Flares
One more that goes with those above. This is a front shot of the truck that Tony (84 Pumpkin) built for his son. It was a father/son project that did with his son when he was 10.
Don't we all wish we had a cool Dad that built monster trucks for us. Tony it's not too late to adopt me....

Re: Fender Flares
good lord Jeff, that white one is a death trap...
i had some fender flares, not mounted though.. that are just flat rubber that sticks out from the fender about 3.5-4"... they are flexable.. but not real "showy"...

Re: Fender Flares
Which "model #" are those flares? I like them and like the coverage also. Thanks for the picture. By the way, do you have any picture that views from the back end (seeing the rear flare coverage)?

If you click on the hyperlinks in my sig you can see tons of pictures of it. I think these are about the two best rear view pictures I have where you can see the flares

Re: Fender Flares
Hey dirtylarry, great looking truck. Love them warn 4x flares. We had some on dads 92 s10 that got totaled out. I wouldn't worry too much about trees and cracking. The guy puled out in front of us and we nailed his front driver's fender with our front pass. fender and hood. It wrinkled the fender up good and jambed it into the door so I had to beat my door open.
Only thing done to the flare was paint rubbed off no damage at all. I got some pics but they are the 35 mm ones no digital. If you wanna se them for proof I can show you. I was amazed they were undamaged. The hood got shoved back like 4 inches on the front corner, folded up, fender wrinkled pretty good, frame kinda caved in around the bumper brace/fender brace bar, but the fender flare was fine.
