Re: Digging in the past..
Cool find, I wish I knew who the original owner of my Burb was--my Grandpa bought it used when it was about 2 years old.
Winter Chevrolet is still in business and is located in the San Francisco/Oakland area. www.winterchevrolet.com. Also, it looks like the first owner only lived about 10 miles away from the dealership. If you have a scanner, maybe you could post the paperwork you found so everybody can take a look!

Wow thats great that you can go back that far with your burb! That dealership is about an hour away from where i live. I travel to pittsburg and concord often!

Re: Digging in the past..
- The condition of the burb last time it was at Winter's
- Accidents the truck was involved (if any) I found some body repairs in the rear end. That kind of things. I really have no idea ... As I mentioned before noting much is still original at this truck... For example at the moment it has a 6.2 diesel engine. This is done overhere btw. Its complete dark blue (as in the avatar) It has a 3 speed automatic gearbox (came with the diesel engine) And those mirrors... I'm glad I've found some original ones... I'm just curious... But if not... It makes no difference about the fun I've with my burb... There's only a handfull running in the Netherlands. And to european standards its really BIG!! |
