I have been building custom trucks and parts for the last 8 years. I have been sending my products and trucks to others to mark their company name on them. well im ready to get the credit and im getting ready to promote at a big show in July. I have a concept 62 chevrolet im working on. im about 25% there. I would like to know what all you guys think of it. I have drawn up what it will look like and posted it, tell me what you think.

I like the matching wheel well treatment. I help do this to a friends 65 GMC SWB, and in the few shows it has been in, no one has noticed it!

Honest opinion? I don't like it. I'm all about mixing and matching but that just doesn't look good to me. Maybe if you put a Nomad top on it running all the way back to make a '62 Nomad/Blazer. JMHO

The front wheel well in the rear is cool though.

if you make the main body white and keep the red i think the vehical will look pretty sharp and it will tie into the late 50's early 60's theme your looking to do.
please post pictures of the actual vehical if you get time. it would be interesting to see how you are aproching this radical design.

Wow! That looks like an awesome idea.

That roof looks a little too rounded for a relatively boxy truck body. What's it off of? Looks similar to the late 50's Corvette roof, but the B-pillar is too large. If I were doing that (not that I have ANY talent in body work) I'd go with something a little more angular, like the roof of a '62-'64 Impala.

the top is off of a dodge. a rare dodge of the 60's and the hood has been rounded more and lengthen. the body has been sectioned as well. in think the impala would be to square. i actuall cut one down and started with that. but changed my mind. i like the bubble top look.
