Thank you to our military members and veterans
With Veterans Day and the Holidays fast approaching I have been thinking alot about our Military members. I think it would be an awesome idea if we ALL posted a little thank you or holiday greeting for our extended family members that are not able to be home this holiday season. We have several members who are serving overseas and will be away from their families for the holidays. What better way to thank them and help give a lil smile and remind them that those of us at home appreciate all they do and miss them dearly.
It would be awesome if this stayed active throughout the holidays for them to share with their units and friends. With that being said, Thank you to all of you who have served or are serving now. God Speed and remember you have alot of people thinking of you back home. ~Liz |

Our Military Members
Don't forget our military members especially during the holiday season. Letters of appreciation are as good as a package though the Care Packages are highly appreciated by any member of the United States of America military. if you don't have anyone special to send something to you can address the package to 'Any Soldier' 'Any Military Service Member' and include an APO and it it go to a soon to be happier person.
Sgt William T Hobbs, zooza1, I sent to a package recently. Enjoy!

Re: Thank you to those who serve
Thank you Liz, your heart is always in the right place. Thank you ALL for your support of the defenders of freedom. Thank you most sincerely to all my brothers and sisters who have answered the call to military service, past and present. As long as WE know why we do what we do, the world will ALWAYS be a better place for it. My kids have lived the better part of the last 2 years without their mother, Chief Master Sergeant Beverly Todd, and understand WHY. Before that, they did without their father, Master Sergeant Mike Todd, for 100+ days a year for 12+ years because he was an enlisted aviator and knew WHY it was important. I have been an Air Force reservist for 17+ years, and over 4 of those years have been spent DEPLOYED to mostly UN-FUN places wrapped in a 175,000 lb chunk of aluminum with an AMERICAN flag on the tail. So much for 1 weekend a month, huh? I salute ALL of you in ALL branches of the service, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves, because it is TRULY, ONE TEAM, ONE FIGHT, now more than ever. Have a proud and well deserved Veterans Day. Take care, Sgt. T

Re: Thank you to our military members and veterans
I, too, would like to thank my wife for putting up with my service...putting up with me being gone for 6-8 months in the coldest parts of the world...being away from home serving those effected by the hurricanes in Louisiana...and for all the other B.S. that a person in the military puts up with on a daily basis, but the spouse deals with too...
Thank you Vickie, I love you!
