What are you guys paying for used 400 turbo/ 205 transfer case combo's??
Blazerman gave me an idea what they are worth and I will be trading for one today. I will be trading out of $750.00 worth of stuff. Good or bad??

I wouldn't give that much.I sold a 400/205 combo a while back,tranny was bad and I got $550.I know they can be had for a lot less.Seen some go for $300 or so.

Like anything else in life its all about supply and demand.
You are getting a highly desireable combo if you are into
rock crawling and plan to do a doubler like me. Call stephen
at ORD and he can give you a good idea of what they go for.
I am going to have to have my th350 version of the 205 case
bored out to accept the larger 32 spline input and bearing to
do my doubler project.

Case in point. In any large town a D60 front as is goes for $1500 all day long.

Hey Joe. Different subject. I checked the front rotors and hubs on the 3/4ton I am doing. GM book says the front locking diff. hub bolts are 24 thread. Mine are 3/8" x 16 thread. Mmmm!

Kevin, I haven't taken my hubs apart yet. I will have to see what I have.
I sold all the sheet metal off it this weekend.
I called that place about the washers, but they never called me back. I need to try them again.
