Re: how hard would this gadge be to install in my 84
It isn't as easy as it looks. The seller is full of poop. Its out of a C60 medium duty truck. They moved the fuel gauge to the tach as the small fuel gauge on a ck123 was located at the bottom left position. In a C60 it was used for a air psi gauge for the primary and secondary air tanks. Its not impossable....if you had the complete cluster...and the wiring manual for your truck and the c60 it could be done...

I have this type gauge cluster in my '84 and I've been involved in seven or eight other installs of this type with great results. The last one I sold was to forum member DBLSPRT68 and he was very happy with it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=165904 I'm currently restoring one of these clusters with a factory vaccum gauge in the lower left position. It will also have a trip odometer style speedometer. Last edited by 84 PUMPKIN; 11-28-2005 at 10:58 AM. |
