another Canuck joining in
Hi, been hanging around for a week or two and decided I should say HI. I bought a '67 SWB fleet small window in November and am looking at getting the drive train up graded and then will worry about the body. Looking to up grade to disc and have read both about bolting in a whole 88 cross member, or just up grading the lower a-arms to 3/4 ton and adding the 88 spindle and brake components. Are there any negatives to either of these projects and is the crossmember a straight bolt in?
Thanks for any info you can give me. By the way I am located at central Vancouver Island, BC, Canada Will try and post a pic, but need to figure out how to shrink them first. Also, I got a 81 chev 1/2 ton beauville van given to me the same day I got my '67 truck. Are there any suspension or other pieces that can be used besides the motor and tranny? Thanks....Kanuck |

Welcome from a fellow B.C.er
I am located in the lower mainland With the cost of ferries I don't get to the island much, too bad as it is a beautifull area.

Hi, Maco...I know what ya mean about the ferry cost. I try to get over to the mainland a couple of times a year. I have a friend in Surry I visit, and I try to get to the Drag races in Mission a couple of times a year too. Went down to the GoodGuys drags at SIR outside Seattle this year. It was fantastic.
