Wifes dont understand Men and there trucks
I was told in no uncertian terms that I had to part with my 1960 Parts truck. She said it was ugly. I got a shortwide bed off this truck, a great amount of dash accessories, a Differential with a 308 to replace the 410 in my 63, a great looking seat. All that my Wife and neighbors see is a nasty old cut up truck. They dont realize how much my 60 gave of itself for the other projects. Oh well, I just dont get it.

Looks like you have two choices for what to get rid of. Getting rid of the truck is a lot cheaper and less painful. At least the scrap prices are still up there.

Fred,
I cant get rid of my wife because I love her. I am just trying to bend her way of thinking. If I can do that and make her think she thought of it I will be sucsessful. JRB |

Re: Wifes dont understand Men and there trucks
The Tow truck driver said he needed the steering wheel so he will have something to tie it off so the front wheels will stay strait. I guess I could follow him and get it when he dumps it. Hey I have a beat up old 56 steering wheel that I could put on there.
Thanks, JRB |

Re: Wifes dont understand Men and there trucks
im sure there is some one up there that you could sell the truck to for more parts. that would be better than sending it to the crusher. i would hate to see that happen. looks to me that there r still some good parts or at least fixable for someone that needs them. my 2 cents ,matt
