72 Cab for parts
Just went and picked this up yesterday, not what I expected. Cab has some rust issues and not sure if it is worth saving. If someone wants to try let me know. Rockers are excellent, but has rust in cab corners/inner kick panels. I was thinking of cutting the pieces out to fix my suburban. So if anyone else needs something I guess I can remove it also. Other parts I have off it for sale are:
Rear slider/nice even has a fuctional latch 80. Heater controller, all cables and levers work. 40. 72 gas pedal assembly/no throttle cable 35. Trans linkage 35. Under dash AC ? I have several of these I also have the bed which looks like Godzilla removed it with a Sawzall also for parts/ good front bed panel and tailgate and hardware, as well as a set of dual side mount tanks. For anyone local I also have: Windshield 40. Doors 100ea Hood FREE Fenders 75 ea Rad Sup 100. Inner fenders 40ea I also have a 68 cab that has some small rust issues that would be better than anything found out in the rust belt, with doors for 350. Let me know if there is anything else you might see you can use, this will be gone by next weekend. Shipping will be whatever UPS charges, I dont add for boxing and standing in line, but remember they have raised there rates and I have no control over that. If you have gotten this far thanks for taking the time to read all this bull sh!t. Chuck in Sunny/Warm 80 today, Arizona

Re: 72 Cab for parts
HeavyD: Doors are really in great shape no major damage or dents, one has minor bubbling in front lower corner. I say they were great for daily driver.
MrBinAz: I sent you a PM Lakewood90712: Will post pics of the gate, I would say the bed is FUBAR, good for patch panels only. Tanks look good and tailgate is driver quality. Will get pics up ASAP

Re: 72 Cab for parts
Tailgate needs little work, few minor dings, bowed slightly at bottom. Great for driver, cheap at 50.

Re: 72 Cab for parts
I would also be interested in a significant portion of the roof. Also, the chrome strip that runs across the back of the cab, under the rear window, if it's in good shape. Thanks.

The AC unit is just an underdash type as shown in first pics, 35 plus shipping if your needing it. No headliner trim on this one. Thanks, Chuck

Re: 72 Cab for parts
al's71gmc: UPS site quoted 18.00 to ship, it's oversized 1. The AC unit is just the under dash unit, you would need all the other parts you mentioned.
Lakewood90712: No problem let me know if you need anything else. I used to live in Lakewood, miss the Long Beach Swapmeet, maybe you'll find a gate there. muddyole 69: Sorry no shipping on the doors, too heavy and I'm old and decrepid. Mike Files: Sorry both are gone on this one, what color do you need, 72 only?
