new body mount ?
just got new body mounts for the blazer and put them in but the doors are still sicky in the door jambs on the back side,any of you have the same problem? i'm wondering if i should take all the factory shims out and loosen the door hinges and front fenders and realign them.you can definatley see some sag in the door opening, wider at the bootom and closer at the top,speeking of top iwonder if i should loosen the bolts that mount the top at the windshield frame? any help or suggestions are apprecited thanks john

There's different 'thickness' mounts for different location's, did you put them in the right place? I'd lossen the mount bolts, align again and shim where needed. Under the firewall and the front of the bed mounts will have the biggest impact on door alignment. |

yes put them in the right spots,i pulled some of the factory shims out from under the firewall,three on one side and two on the right.this coming days off maybe i'll put two on each side on the mounts under the seats and thighten every thing down, maybe that will pull it back into place.thanks john

Make sure that when you tighten down the body bolts you crank em down just past tight don't reef on em cause it will move the body around that way also..

I have been planning on doing this myself, so do you put the factory shims back in the same number and place? I had thought that was the way to go, but sounds like that may be an error in thinking??
