Hey everyone. I've just joined today and I'm here for some information if you got it. Here's the project; a worn out 1986 K20 work truck/daily driver with a 350 gas that I'd like to toss for a 6.5 diesel. So, I'd like to know if anyone here has done something like this in the past and can help me out. I know I could just rebuild the 350 and probably have decent power, but what's the fun in doing the same old thing? The purpose is good fuel economy, towing power, and longevity. Oh and did I mention that it needs some sheetmetal?
