Disc on closed knuckle
Has anyone put disc brakes on a closed knuckle front axle? And if so are all the shafts and everything the same as a open disc front end. Thanks for any help!!!

I'd also like to know. Really concidering a front disc swap to my closed knuckle/drums axle if this can be done...

There is a thread in the 4x4 forum about the possibilities of a kit. Someone chimed in at the last and said he had swapped from a 73+ blazer with very little difficulty.show thread 188212

I did it and expect to do some persuading (grinding!) I used most all the parts from the 73 up donor, less the spindle (part of the closed knuckle from end and cannot be removed). I have since sold the Blazer so I have no picts.
