Can it be true? A convertible 1971 GMC SWB

I was tolds about a 1971 GMC shorty that has a factory removable hardtop installed on it for sale. Something like a factory California Custom limited production truck.

Anybody ever seen one or heard about one?
Or is the guy pulling my leg? like a California custom cutoff saw hardtop?

I will see it this weekend and take pics.

i've seen a few "good humor" type icecream trucks that were convertables but they were conversions after the factory and they had soft tops

More likely it's a Jimmy [GMC's K/5 Blazer] with the aftermarket halftop.

Yes it sounds like a blazer with a half cab on it.
