Front coil spring questions - need help
Hey guys,
I have got my front end all torn down for rebuild and have decided to replace the coils on the front while I am at it. Originals are probably rather weak anyway. I am going with stock height coils and stock spindles. Upon looking for replacements, I see there are a fews choices. STANDARD DUTY HEAVY DUTY For example, MOOG makes front regular duty and Heavy duty both for the same price. Which would make the best choice, I dont want too harsh a ride. I have a 350 and 700R4. and pretty much plan on making this a daily driver (good weather daily driver, that is). I wouldn't go with Heavy Duty for a driver. JMO

I put heavy duty springs on my front end and I've got the straight-6 250 engine. The way I describe the handling is a firm but smooth ride. It's got a lot less body roll to it when I enter Interstate 35 goin' to Austin than it did before.

Daily driver, go with the regular coils. You can always beef up your shocks.
