Re: Winshield wiper knub thingys...

I was looking on Brothers website and found new wiper arms that are a snap-on style. Does a 70 c-10 chevy have the snap-on style as s tock or is this an aftermarket option. Will these snap-on style wipers go onover top of a rounded oou post or do i need to get new posts with the grooves? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Winshield wiper knub thingys...

i saw four trucks at the local www.pullapart.com yard. the only one i see near you is in charlotte, which i wouldn't call "close" by any stretch. this is their inventory:

CHEVROLET PICKUP 1967, Row 600
CHEVROLET PICKUP 1967, Row 600
CHEVROLET PICKUP 1967, Row 600
CHEVROLET PICKUP 1971, Row 601

They didn't have any 67-72 GMC's that I saw in the list. Most local junkyards around you should have a similar selection, I would think. I'd call around and ask. Probably get new ones for less than $10

67-68 uses a special release of some sort to keep them on and they're a bear to get off. they moved to a new snap on style in 69, i believe, much easier to pop on and off than what i have on mine. there is more info about this in the haynes manual i bought for the truck along with pictures of the two styles, i think.

Try Specialty Power Windows In Georgia if you can't find them used. They sell new ones without having to buy their wiper kit.
