mounting side mirrors
okay i was thinking about getting some later sytle truck mirrors like on an 89 chevy pick-up hows the best way to mount these i and replaceing mine because the are maded of cheap plastic and falling apart and does anyone have pictures of these installed

If there is a way to mount '89 model mirrors on a 67-72, it won't be easy. That type mirror is made into the shape of the door/window and I can't think of any way to adapt it to an earlier body style.
If you want a more modern look the only two options I know of are certain Ford F-150 mirrors and Mazda Miata mirrors.
