wanted: antena clamping thingy
I had my cowl and antena off and managed to lose the bottom thing that goes under the the cowl to enable the antena to be tightened. Well was that clear as mUd? I hope you know what part I am talking about. thanks

Look down at the bottom of fender (it probably fell down inside the cowl).

It might look something like that ebay pic but not sure. I took it off about a year ago and dont really remember. I just know something was supposed to be there. Can you tell by my pic here?

Jerry, according to the pic you should have the potmetal under the cowl. You could check radio shack and see if the piece were available on a cheap antenna. I feel confident that the one on e-bay would work. If you have time I am sure I could find you a free one. I have one sitting on the shelf If you want to replace it later. Please let the board know if you need it now so they will stay looking. My chihuahua is getting ready to be 15 I guess I will have to update my post's. Whenever you need knick-knacks e-mail me directly and I will do my best to find it. Tommy

Thanks Tommy, Yes please keep an eye out for me. I hope to have this truck on the job in 2 to 4 weeks, so that is roughly my time frame.
