northstar in a truck?
Anyone ever seen a cadillac 32 v northstar engine in a 67-72 truck or blazer? Just got a caddy from a friend , but not sure about if I'll pull the motor and use it or not. Any pics would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: northstar in a truck?
Your chevy engine doesn't leak enough oil?
There was a thread in general discussion last week or so about this engine and some of it's weak points. |

Re: northstar in a truck?
tell ya what, donate to the board the $2000 or so that it would cost to swap it in and have someone drill a 1/8" hole in your SBC pan, install an old worn out dist. with burned points, and turn one of your idle mixture screws in 3/4 turn. that way you will save a butt-load of fabrication and frustration.
