what driveline do you have?
hey, anybody go from 2 piece to a 1 piece driveline?on a swb.i've been having some issues after lowering. first some vibration caused by angles with my 2 piece. we calmed it down by reducing carrier bearing bracket height .now i'm getting a leak,i wonder if the driveline is to long now?what if anything did you low guys have to do?

Re: what driveline do you have?
Your rear flip kit has offset holes to adjust your pinion angle, did you install them backwards??

Re: what driveline do you have?
My short bed and my Son's both came with a 1 piece drivelines and we have had no issues with the angles---did not have to install angle shims. Make sure that you get the driveline made at the right length, so it does not fit into the tranny yoke wrong. Measure twice to be sure.

Re: what driveline do you have?
What I would do at this point is go get a driveline from a salvage long bed and when you lower your truck, have that long shaft cut and balanced to the length that you will need. You are going to have to cut one to length for the lower attitude anyways, might as well have the long driveline to make it where you want it.

Re: what driveline do you have?
Well I dont know if its the same but my long bed truck is a two peice. It a factory 305 manual. And my other long bed started off as a 305 automatic. I dont know if manual and auto make a difference or if a long bed is different.
