Re: Serious HELP on SHAVED DOORS
I made a bracket right bove the arm rest bracket, it runs accross the hole in the door and clears the door pannel just fine. I will get some pics for you by tomorrow.

Re: Serious HELP on SHAVED DOORS
revers everything and use "Bear Claw latches. Put the solenoids on the door post. That is what I did on the 68 Chevy.

Re: Serious HELP on SHAVED DOORS
Thanks dude , I have question's will the door panel still fit or dose it get in the way?It look's like the same soelnoid ,what about the link is that A wire looping at the lacth and going to the inner rod? What is that attaching at the rod and the wire it looks as if it's acting as A brace/guide some how? I;m sorry if I sound ignorant of the subject but I've never done this before......LOL

Re: Serious HELP on SHAVED DOORS
Its not really a wire but a small gauge rod. The clamp holds it to the main latch that opens the door from the inside. I have had this setup for over a year with no problems so far. Like I said it clears the door pannel just fine no problems with the pannel fitting over it.
