Grand Opening, Parts Specials, Cookout, Fireworks Display
Well I bought the new store in mid-march, moved in May 1st, and plan on building another 1600-2000sq ft in July we hope, so it looks like the best free date for celebrating the opening of our new store will be
Saturday June 24th 2006, we will have a cook out followed by a fireworks show that I have set aside a 1000lbs + of fireworks for that should make a fireworks show lasting 2-3 hour that night as long as city doesn't shut us down due to rxcessive noise complaint if we run it to late and neighbors complain. We will have special pricing on parts during the event for all who attend. If theres something you want to make sure we have in stock for the event please notify us 1-2 weeks in advance and we will try to make sure everything you need is here. GMCPaul |

Re: Grand Opening, Parts Specials, Cookout, Fireworks Display
lngbed71, JK if we can get enough response I definately would do a truck show, say the following classes such as Best Original, Best Custom, Best Work in progress, & Most in need of repair. If everyone agrees perhaps another thread should be started to see if we can get enough response from people who will attend to do a truck show also.
jhow66 we could ship them but I definately wouldn't want to be one opening box or eating them, maybe a soda or bottled water instead?? Thanks for the congrats everyone!!! Its been alot of hard work & saving basicly everything we make, then putting it all back into the business to get to this point and we appreciate everyones support we have received. GMCPaul |

Re: Grand Opening, Parts Specials, Cookout, Fireworks Display
Just ordered a bunch of parts from you online to ship to maryland. I may have hit the dreaded confirm button twice. The purchase is well over 300 dollars alone and I dont have the money to pay well over 600. Also a while ago I ordered some Rear 5 inch drop springs and hit the contact you button but never got a response. My question was will I need different mounts for the rear springs or will the factory ones work? Thanks alot for your awesome site and wish I was not in japan right now and could go to the bbq. Thanks again bro. Peace.

Re: Grand Opening, Parts Specials, Cookout, Fireworks Display
James I just checked and printed only one order that was valid and that was billed to your card, by clicking the contact button on our site it should have caused a email pop up window to appear, if it did not its most likly the security settings on your computer, other than springs which our custom made to truck specs your entire order is in stock and should ship today and be waiting on ya at home. In regards to the 5" rear springs you will not need new coil spring mounting cups if yours are good, some say they get away with using the stock pan-hard bar and their rear-end stays centered with 5" drop springs, myself I've always found I needed a adjustable track arm bar to get rear-end re-centered under the frame using 5" springs, and for a softer ride I always use shock reloctors which places shock back into a more vertical position, without them the shock sits more horizontal and this reduces their dampening effect considerably creating a rougher ride. Wish you could make it also, I'm a ex-tactical aircraft maint. specialist from Air Force also, stay dry!!

Re: Grand Opening, Parts Specials, Cookout, Fireworks Display
James did my tour from 1980-84 at first crew chiefing T-38's & F-111's followed by downed aircraft recovery in 3 countries, maybe we'll meet up in Vegas late Oct-early November I'm there for a week during the SEMA / AAPEX show. Springs take 7-10 days on average.

Re: Grand Opening, Parts Specials, Cookout, Fireworks Display
Word up my man cant wait to be in vegas and seeing my fav vender is an added plus for sure. Keep up the stellar work and good luck in your new location. Peace. Every one should buy from gmc pauls. He beat the price on springs by like 50 bones compaired to everyone else. I dont know about yous but 50 bones is enough money to have to fun a friday night at the local bar.

Re: Grand Opening, Parts Specials, Cookout, Fireworks Display
1969K10 small world isn't, I used to be around Clarks Hill alot as a youth when my dad worked for Western Union as a Satelite Earth Station and microwave tower maintainer, Western Union had a microwave tower near Clarks Hill that during World War II the local farmers grew hemp for the war effort, well in the mid-late 70's the cops were always on them about the wild hemp on the property so it would be a few weekends of slash & burn to keep them happy besides maintaining there equipment.
Hope you make the show, we'll be having some really great blow out prices on the majority of our parts. GMCPaul |
