What I did today.
Got started dismantling my Nova today. It has my donor engine for my 80 2wd Blazer. You can get a lot done with a sawzall, 2 lb. hammer and chisel. I am removing all useable parts for resale. I plan on removing the front subframe and rear end and cutting up the rest to haul to the scrap yard. By the way, I drove it into the garage last Sat. I worked on it a little last Sat. and 4hr. today. As you can see in the first picture it has damage to the roof from a fallen tree branch. I am kind of enjoying myself, but can't wait to get all that junk out of the backyard and get down to business on the Blazer.

Re: What I did today.
The last nova i owned was after i rolled my 69 chevelle off the autobauhn outside of hanau years ago. Bought it so i had something to drive and it allways made a funny noise in the motor but hauled buns down the autobauhn. When we finally tore it down we found a wrist pin had started making a nice grove in the cylinder wall.
Got 6 blazers right now with a 7th in the stages of logistics to get home to colorado. DW

Re: What I did today.
Once i get my taxes caught up for the buisness here soon i am going to make the wife let me buy a trailer so i can go to texas and pick up another blazer. Then of all things my local gm parts counter man is going to let me have his 78 2wd rather cheap as his son doesn't want it anymore. It runs and drives and would be a better long term project than my 79....which i think i have sold as some one in town wants it really bad...
