Im Picking Her UpTomorrow!!!
It's official! I'm going to get my 59 Apache tomorrow! I've got the money and my helpers lined up for loading and transporting it. 1st thing to do is see about rigging up the wiring to get the engine running and see how she does. Then its time for a little body work and paint, a Brothers gas tank and probably a bench seat from some late model SUV... Rust has been pretty much repaired already. Its got a nicely chromed 350 with a fresh rebuild and a big cam, a 400 tranny and a ferd 9" out back...Hope to have it mostly (practially) complete in 2-3 mos. It comes with a complete new wiring kit and dash panel and instrument cluster as well...

Did you buy that off a preacher? I looked at one a long time ago and a preacher was redoing it. It looks like his house in the pic.

Re: Im Picking Her UpTomorrow!!!
In an unusual turn of events, my help would be unavail. today to help bring the truck home so we got it Yesterday! The trailer was narrow and we had a heck of a time loading her up. The rear tires were too wide so we had to remove one and put an old spare I had on it. Only problem is it had a "locking lug" and we had no choice but to use the torch and burn it off! Just one more repair I'll have to make. Here in a little while we will be unloading and trying to get her running again.
hey dwcsr, I don't think this was the same guy your talking about although he's a super nice guy. Helped in any way he could with the loading along with 2 of his neighbors I will post more pics later of the "extra goodies" that came with her... I appreciate the words of encouragement ya'll...Thx, J
