Darn Swiming Pool
THE WIFE GOT HER SWIMING POOL FINISHED YESTERDAY. THER GOES MY POWER STEERING AND DISC BRAKE CONVERSIONS.

I'd look at the pool as future bargaining power like. . . "hey, don't be gripping about the money I'm spending on my truck, remember that swimming pool I bought for you!

Let's see... a swimming pool is a hole in the ground (could be in the air) surrounded by ________ (fill in the blank...steel, concrete, tile, etc.) into which one poors money....(for water, chemicals, toys, etc.). This is what I remember from our pool ownership days.
Our trucks occupy a portion of the air we breathe, and (in effect) is a hole in the air surrounded by metal (bondo, fiberglass, etc.) into which we pour money. Been doing it and ain't through. So, regardless of whether we have a truck or a pool, the end is the same. We keep pouring money into it! When will it ever end? I think I need a new boat.

VNMOUS , you have a blessing in disguise. Instead of your wife wanting to go places when you're both off , now she has something to do at home !!!!! She gets to lounge around the pool and you get to work on your truck !!!!!!! LOL
At least that's the way it works around my house !!!!!

I had a nice above ground pool given to me , but I had to pass, did not need the expence and hasel.
