Re: Oh my Gawd!

New rocker boxes...sweet, tough job, looks like you did well. Just look at it this way ..at $55 an hour for shop work, you just increased the value of your rebuild...lol If it was like mine it was slow and took twice as much time as I thought..

Re: Oh my Gawd!

That looks great! How did you find the quality of the rocker box fitment compaired to the original and who did you get them from?

Re: Oh my Gawd!

Dude, welding my boxes in sucked! I was on the floor welding upwards and I burned myself more times than I can count...

Looks good Alexis, Rg

Re: Oh my Gawd!

Is that a speaker hole in the door?

Any progress is good progress. Mine hasn't been touched in well over a month, and I have only put about 40 hours into it all year. To top it off I was certain it would be on the road by May, 2006.

Re: Oh my Gawd!

Thanks guys hopefully it'll be done one day.

RokCrln - The Box is like most repo products. The top were it welds against the uper floor pan wasn't as wide as the O.E. I had to do some bending were the rocker caps go's on. Other then that I was happy but it was a kicker in the rear at times.

RaggedJim - Welding upside down does suck. I just turned up the voltage and sped the wire up a little and got it down. I also use a leather jack I bought at a welding shop to protect my chest and arms.

Pop's- I let it run lose while I weld so I blind it or freak it out. It just hide behind the box the has my cowl and eats away at the cardboard.
