1984 block

Im New Here, Hi To Every one . Hope You Can Help. Ihave access to a 1984 school bus van 350 engine with less then 1000 miles on it.
need to no if this block will fit ok into a 1990 surburban with, i know ill need to do some mods, But any help would be appreciated

Hi Caleb..... welcome, the block will fit, but lots of mods, carbs went away in 87, lots of smog stuff.

Yea I know iwill have to change intake, distributer, all pullys as mine has single serpintine belt , but can i use same heads and flywheel stuff like that,
my moters shot and i could not pass up this one for the price.

the casting # 14010207 could be 2 or 4 is there an easy way to tell, got ot home today and pulled the intake off every thing looks nice and clean

make sure the starter will bolt to the block. Many school bus applications don't hav holes in the block to bolt on a starter since the bolt them to the trans.

I know this is an old thread but I have the same casting # and it is a 4 bolt main.
