700R4 by maddog transmissions
I bought this off someone else who's plans had changed. And now my plans have changed so I'd like to get it out of the garage and get some of my money back.
This transmission was built by maddog tranmissions. They have an ebay store and website so you can see what they do. This tranny is on a pallet and can be shipped. I'd prefer not to and will help get it to you if that's the case but anyways.. This is the 700HP or so built 700R4. Comes with everything you need to install. it's all on the pallet. i.e. tranny has never been installed $800 OBO + Shipping if required

Re: 700R4 by maddog transmissions
I have one of their trannies, and paid $1200-1300. I broke the first one in a day, and had to have another one shipped to me, I'd just make sure you'll get a warrantee, not trying to scare you or anybody else off, but these do break and with no warrantee the buyer is out, just call them and see if they'll transfer the warrantee over to the new buyer. The second one worker well, and I have it behind a 500hp+ 500lb/ft of torque 468, so it has earned its keep.

Wow, that's a huge claim for a 700. Sure hope they have a good warranty program.

Re: 700R4 by maddog transmissions
I'm assuming the warranty has run out or is close to out? Does it have a new torque converter as well?

According to their website, the waranty is NOT transferable from the original purchaser.

Ed,
I say we make a road trip to go get it. Or ask Sting to meet in Chattanooga.
