WIW 1970 2WD blazer
Not for sale. I just want to see if it`s worth what I think it`s worth. 6 cyl. 3 spd. on column. no power anything.almost no rust in the bed floor or quarters. The rt. qtr. hit hard enough at the rear to bend the floor a little just inside. drivers side floor needs to be replaced from the seat to the gas pedal and from the hump out to the door.

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
Hard to say, what it is worth, depends on lots of stuff. the rear quarter, biggest thing, floors and rocker normal...but noticed original K5 emblems and top, grill, body line looks good, motor and tranny probably throw aways if you rebuild. seats and interior ..no pics if they are original and in good shape..
Rough estimate ..fromwhat I have bought 1,000 -2,000 (assuming it don't run at all) and it has a clear title

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
My last "rough" Blazer purchase here in ATL. looked to be in a little better shape than that one ....not by much......and it ran. It was a 3o7 3 speed.
I paid $600. It was a 4x4 though so that 2 x4 is definatly worth a more than that. |

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
Hmmmmmm, well a 70 2wd is the rarest of all 2wd Blazers, Production # wise,
I would say you could get as much as $2500 for it, but that's just my $.02

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
It is the rarest form of 2wd blazer.........but that really doesnt matter to most guys who want a 2wd. Most want them to build customs, that makes the 70 worth actually a little less because it is 6 lug drum brakes. That means one more thing that nneds to be converted.
that said, the body looks pretty good. I would say the $1000-2000 range would be fair. |

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
You can pretty much name your price. As LUV said, they are the rarest with less than a thousand made. Yours is interesting, because the 6 cyl option would have shown up on the RPO sticker, since it was an economy option. The 307 was standard and didnt get listed...just another thing that makes yours stand out. A nice piece indeed.

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
It's worth what someone is willing to give ya. I don't mean that in a smart a$$ way, but I wouldn't give more than a $1,000 like it sits ... whereas someone else may give ya twice that.
Hard to say. |

If I had a place for it I would own it, but I am only supposed to have
one and I currently have two, that one is nicer to sleep in then mine.

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
I agree at $2,500+/-.What you have is a core to a rare vehicle project. If running on the road, that price could about double.Although most are looking for one to customize. The drum brakes are not a set-back at all.71/72 spindles would be chucked for drop spindles, anyway. And Da bling boyz like big rimz and would likely(and should)go to big brakes,so there go the oem calipers and rotors. For original resto guys,it`s all there. It definately has a value over other years based on it`s rarity. If I was building a custom, the rarity would still matter.I`d say $500 over other years.

Re: WIW 1970 2WD blazer
I figured between $2000-$2500 It does run and drive.Needs a core support, right inner fender, the dash is cut around the radio. When I bought it ,I had to clean about 1000 lbs. of junk out of it and remove some kind of later model bucket seats. The utility buckets in it now came from Hugger CST.
