Inline Guys..........P/S brackets(Again) on '72
I know this has been beaten to death, but I can't find anything in my quick search............How is the powersteering pump mounted on the inliners? Is the Alternator in the road and does it get moved as well? I am going to make my own brackets, but I'd like to see what it should look like to make the job go a bit quicker without a ton of head scratching.
Thanks

Here's one mounted on a 292 I saw on eBay awhile back. I saved it for reference. I don't know about having to move the alternator, it may be mounted higher up on some engines?
My truck it got mounted in the same place as the one on ebay. Alternator stayed down low.

We had to "throw something together", and did not even know where to mount it. But it looks like we hit the nail on the head! Right above the alternator. The bracket is totally from scratch, kinda ugly and boxy too, but works grrrreat! Wlelded on pieces of a random bracket that had a nice slot for belt adjustment. Then just tied a piece of shoe lace around the pump pulley and crank pulley to get the bolt size
