Blazer update!!!

I finally got some pictures!!! The only problem is...I don't know how to reduce the size without them getting distorted. So...I dumped them in yahoo photos. I have a couple of pictures in there of my blazer when I first got it as well. Let me know if you can't open this.

Very nice Blazer! What did you use for the front seat?

Re: Blazer update!!!

Thanks all!!! Moreso...thanks for convincing me not to sell it!!!

The seats and console are from a 98 suburban. The seats are actually vinyl (I got cheap) and the center is suede. I had the interior guy extend the suede so when I drive with the top off...my legs don't get burned!!! It can get HOT here. I just need a few little things for the interior and then I'm done with that part of the project. For those of you that wanted to know...for re-upholstering the seats and baby seat, making me door, rear and rear lid panels, welding in the brackets for the rear seat as well as welding in the nuts for the top. Everything ran me $1300.

The next project is the engine, the transmission and the rear end. I probably won't do that until next year though. I just want a nice tight running blazer so I won't do anything dramatic with the drive train.

To be continued

Re: Blazer update!!!

You got a smokin' deal on the seats and interior parts. I'm glad you were able to keep it. My daughter loves riding in "daddy's bouncytruck" with the top off. Hopefully, when my son is old enough (he's only 4 months now), he'll enjoy it too. Someday, I'll have a slammed 2wd too.

Re: Blazer update!!!

Sweet interior! Are you going to have the speaker box done in the same style (I'm assuming the grey box in the back is for your subs)?

It still amazes me what a nice set of rims and tires does for the outside of a vehicle. Those torque thrusts bring you ride from 90's to the present!

Yes...that's actually one of the "little things" that I need to do. I don't know how to build a box and having someone build me a fiberglass box was WWWAAAYYY out of my budget so I just bought a pre-built box. It works for now though.

No kidding!!! After looking at how the blazer looked before with the GT 75's and now...what an investment!!!!

Speaking of which. I'm going to put the rims for sale in the other forum, but anyone interested in those rims??? Their 17" Billet Specialties GT 75 rims with 255/45/17 in the front and a HUGE 315/35/17 BF Goodrich Comp TA tires in the rear. I'm going to sell them for $800/obo.
