1/2 top questions

How do they mount to the windshield frame and the quarter panels? How far back on the quarters to they cover (in inches from the beginning of the b pillar) I am concerned that my roll bar may be in the way. What is the bulkhead section made of---metal, fiberglass like the top or ?
What works well as replacement for windshield weatherstrip, door glass weatherstrip, etc.
Thanks guys---I may be getting a partial 1/2 top and am not that familiar with the details of mounting, size, location, etc.

Re: 1/2 top questions

The one I have (Glasstite) mounts in the standard holes at the windshield. The bulkhead is steel. The rear of the top mounts to the top of the bulkhead. My top has weather stripping around the windows and the edge that mounts to the windshield frame.

I don't think I could get a rollbar under my top, the bulkhead bolts in right between the quarterpanel post (square post beside door opening) and the top extends back about 5-6 inches from the rear door edge.

Hope this helps, Rg

Do you have a picture of how it bolts in, I have the same top as you, I'm just trying to figure out how it bolts up.

Re: 1/2 top questions

Hey Roger, thanks for the info. If the deal works out, I may come back for a picture or two as I haven't a clue. I am concerned that the 1/2 top will stick too far back for my roll bar which will be a real pita. I can move the roll bar further back I guess--just hate making more holes in the floor!! Creating the bulkhead section will also be interesting but perhaps I can get some measurements from my buddies on the board. Regards

No problem Huck

Yes, I'm not quite sure how it's supposed to bolt up, so I thought maybe if you had some pics it might help.
